Massanutten boasts the most vertical drop in Virginia, two terrain parks, and was the first resort to allow snowboarding in the state. Mass also offers a host of family-friendly activities, from snow tubing to an indoor water park.

NEW THIS SEASON
• Massanutten has up-graded lift #3, the Geronimo, from a double to a quad chair. Mass also added a loading conveyor to the lift–the first in Virginia.
• In addition to the lift upgrade, Mass cut a new slope for the 09/10 season. Nutten-to-It is a beginner trail accessible from the new Geronimo lift.
• The Easy Street terrain park has been relocated and is now accessible from the same Geronimo chair lift.
• Mass now offers two new ski clinics, one for senior skiers and one for female skiers. Senior clinics are every Thursday and Sunday 1:30-3:30pm and the Ladies clinic is every Thursday from 10am-12. $30 for each clinic.
BUDGET BONUS
• Terrain parks aren’t just for new schoolers. Families enjoy Easy Street, a less intimidating terrain park with easier features and its own lift.
• Sign up for a two-hour session at the Peaked Mountain Express Tubing Park, one of the fastest growing activities on the mountain.
• For off-the-slope family fun, hit Massanutten’s indoor water park, which features everything from hot springs to simulated surfing waves.

• Advanced skiers love Pardice, a longer black diamond run with plenty of twists and turns. Intermediate skiers love Rebel Yell, a steep groomer running straight down the mountain
