Wisp Resort is one of the longest-running operations in the region. Winter recreation began on Marsh Mountain in 1955 when a cow pasture owned by a local farmer was turned into a makeshift ski area. More than 50 years later, Wisp Resort attracts visitors from up and down the Eastern seaboard, and now boasts 32 slopes with over 132 acres of skiable terrain.
